A fully automatic electro magnetic braking system This heavy-duty steel Lectro Truck-1268E preferred for moving gun safes and boilers that enables a single person to easily balance and control large loads, up and down steps. With a 1500 lb. /680kg weight lift capacity, it is constructed from steel, and is affectionately known in the industry as Old Orange. The over all height is 71" with a vertical lifting height that moves loads up and down stairs, on and off trucks and cans. A female charging plug, located in the side of the battery box allows you to connect to a male plug on the battery charger. You can also connect directly to the terminals on the battery with alligator clips to charge the battery. Adjustable strap bars can easily be attached, moved and detached without the use of any tools. Each unit includes two strap bars and a battery charger.

The battery life by the amount of steps that can be climbed with a fully charged battery. Typically with a well maintained battery that is fully charged you will get the approximate lifting capacity outlined below:
- 500 lbs. = 450 steps
- 1,000 lbs. = 350 steps
- 1,500 lbs. = 100 steps
The Lectro Truck can be used in the place of a tail lift gate provided your truck isn't more than 41" from the ground to the bed of your truck. If you have more than 41" a small platform can be made to achieve the appropriate height.
